i've a strange feeling that i'm not going to be able to sleep a lot tonight. tomorrow i'm heading to the other side of our (hopefully round) planet. if i ever find my way to the country behind the andes you'll see a lot of pictures taken by my analog camera in next months.
did you know that the andes is the world's longest continental mountain range? wikipedia told me that recently.
me as an indian photographed by my dear friend lissu.
i actually had another blog before i headed to chile for a year. i wrote about my daily life and posted some pictures (mostly of my outfits) for almost two years. today i read the whole blog which i still have saved somewhere in the space. there were actually kind of many people interested in young girl's life. reading the stuff i had written i noticed how much i've grown in the past years. it's kind of impressing.
i've been so busy this week and all my freetime i've passed on a beach because it's so hot out there and i feel like melting. lately i've felt like a real photographer and not just a wannabe one as the whole week i've been doing something relative with photography. on saturday i was photographing my friends' graduation, on sunday i photographed my friend's graduation portrait, on monday i had the opening of my exhibition, on tuesday i passed the whole day editing the photos of my friend, yesterday i photographed on a gig, today i was interviewed for the television about my exhibition and just finished choosing and editing the photos i'd taken yesterday, and tomorrow i'm going to take portraits of another friend of mine. wow, sounds like a real photographer's life i guess. apart from that i've been going to work every day and every minute i've had free i've gone to a beach or eaten ice cream.
i guess my english isn't very good but i find writing in english is a good practice and helps me to learn it better. so don't mind about dozens of errors because i don't make them on purpose.
yesterday i had the opening of my first exhibition! i'm very proud as this is the first big photography project i've ever finished. my parents, friends and even my teacher of photography came to the opening and we celebrated drinking some sparkling wine.

all my friends graduated on saturday, just not me (yet). it was an amazing and very long day because i woke up early and we stayed up till the sunrise. we ate a lot, drank a lot and danced till our feet were bleeding. everyone was wearing a white cap but i had a brown hat so that i wouldn't look so different.
laura and pernille and some street musician. he was very sweet as he played happy birthday to pernille who was having her birthday. that's why all of us put some crazy hats on. we were singing on the street and every stranger was congratulating her. it was an awesome day! i bought the moon mask and some people asked me to take it off to see my face which they assumed to be very pretty. but i didn't because i felt somehow very safe behind my mask.
